1956 Grumman SA-16 Albatross - USAF Air Rescue Service Centerfold Ad

This early original 10 x 14" centerfold magazine ad from 1956 promoted the usefulness of the Grumman SA-16 Albatross Airplane as part of the USAF Air Rescue Service. According to the ad over 44K people were saved by this invaluable angel of the sky and sea.   The ad has two "square holes along the center fold where the originals staple held it to the binding.  They are hard to see in the photo, so look carefully.  I believe that if you place this ad on a dark background the eye will tend to overlook these defects naturally.
