This original 7 x 10" magazine ad from 1951 showcases the latest lightweight push mower.  The Monta Mower is only 8.25 lbs and cuts 16" wide swaths at a time.  It can also cut right up to walls, fences, trees, much like today's zero turns. Sold out of Grand Rapids, MI. There is a small bite out of the lower edge as can be seen in the image.
