This original 7 x 9" magazine ad from 1951 was another in the Tough but oh so Gentle Series of advertisements sponsored by Hastings Piston Rings.  This time some children's shoes are pictured with a hole in the sole and the tough guy playing cobbler to complete the shoe repairs.
