1949 Swift's Allsweet Oleomargarine #680 Melting on Peas

This original 11 x 15" magazine ad from 1949 features Swift's Allsweet Vegetable Oleomargarine melting on a summer treat of fresh sweet peas.  This ad represents a transition period when states were starting to allow food dyes to be used in the product, so the ad is reminding you that butter is naturally white, but some states they could sell yellow butter as well.
