1947 Hamilton Watch Does Your Wife/Man Deserve a Hamilton? Ad #1604

This original 10 x 13" magazine ad dates from 1947 and asks the Question: Does your Wife/Man deserve a Hamilton for Christmas?  The ad does not have a printed date, but can be placed at 1947 by the hints given in the copy.  States that Hamilton watches have been sought as Christmas Gifts for 55 years.  Knowing that Hamilton was founded in 1892 + 55 = 1947.
