1945-May-7 WAR IS OVER! - Official Announcement Delayed - HH0012

This original Newspaper Front Page is dated May 7, 1945 and appeared as the front Page of that day's Fort Myers News Press EXTRA!  WAR is OVER! Official announcement delayed in regards to the end of WWII. Page carries pictures of Churchill, Stalin and Truman.  Bottom edge is frayed but otherwise in good overall condition. The page measures @ 18 x 21" and is stored flat in a plastic sleeve protector designed for newsprint.  Upon order payment the item will be carefully rolled and shipped in a heavyweight 3" diameter Mailing tube to ensure the best protection during transit to your address.
