This original 8.5 x 11" magazine ad of 1944 tells the details behind the take over of Ann Arbor Machine Company of Shelbyville, Illinois by Oliver Farm Equipment Company.  This company made bailers and Oliver kept their product lines and employees and just changed the branding in 1944 to call the equipment Oliver-Ann Arbor.  Great Historic background.,
