1944 Solar Stainless Steel Products WWII Era Promotional Ad

This original magazine ad from 1944 has been trimmed to @ 5 x 11" and features a South Pacific war scene and tells the tale of a soldier who before going to war worked at Solar Stainless Steel Products where he came up with a simple tool to flare the end of SS tubes.  This innovation was expanded upon by the company and it's use greatly increased the efficiency and output of the production process.
