1930 Masterpiece Ad of Yesteryear - Shell Kerosene - Ad #1306

This original 10.5 x 14" magazine ad from 1930 showcases the vital role that Shell Kerosene played in the early days of farming.  Poultry farms relied on the Kerosene for the operation of incubators and brooders to ensure that chicks were properly safeguarded to the pre and post hatching process. The ad image show a shadow on the lower have, that was caused because the ad had a wave which caused it not to lay as flat as possible when the picture was taken.  This situation has been resolved by placing the ad in a sleeve protector and placing it into a flat binder for storage.
