1928 Commander Byrd Chooses Maytag For South Pole Ad #2234

This original 10 x 14" magazine ad is a unique Maytag Washer piece of advertising from 1928.  It points out that Commander Byrd Chose Maytag Washing Machines to take on his South Pole Expedition.  Something like Clean clothes on an expedition ship never crossed my mind! The Maytag Company was located in Newton, Iowa at the point in time.
