1924 Dual Sided Colorized Art Deco Period Product Ads PET & LINIT Ad #2271

This original 1924 magazine page carries 2 popular products of the period front and back.  They are for everyday pantry items that were made appealing due to the colors and graphics of the ads.  Most of these ads were artist drawn and paid for by the company at the time.  They remind us of what life could be like over a hundred years ago.

On the front is an ad for PET evaporated milk, used primarily today for dessert cooking, but in 1924 it was mixed with Fruit Juices for a refreshing energy drink.

On the reverse is an ad for LINIT starch, showing an outing to a summer time Beach in your crisp linens. Many people today have no idea what Starching clothes is!
