1923 Sanford Mills, Sanford Maine, Chase Velmo Mohair Velvet Maker Ad #N1661

This original 8.5 x 11" magazine ad appeared in 1923 to promote the use of Chase Velmo Formerly known as Chase Mohair Velvet for furniture and Closed Motor Car upholstery.  The fabric was produced at Sandford Mills, in Sanford, Maine, at the time.  The twenties was the hey day of Mohair used in fine furniture, automobiles, teddy bears and clothing.
