1922 Fels-Naptha Laundry Detergent Bar Soap Magazine Ad #1729

This original 9 x 12" magazine ad from 1922 promoted the use of Fels-Naptha to leave your clothes clean smelling and fresh after washing with the Golden Bar with the clean Naptha Odor.  Okay, if you don't know what Naptha smells like, it is the smell of moth balls.  Definitely not something most Americans prefer to smell like these days, but I can remember a lot of my aunts and uncles smelling like these growing up that's for sure.
