1919 Sandwichola - For Sandwiches - For Salad Tuna Based Spread - AD #1946

This unique original ad measures 11 x 14" and was published in 1919 to market the new Canned Tuna Spread "Sandwichnola".  It originated in California as a local favorite for day trips and picnics, and gained a following to allow it to be carried in local grocery stores of the period.   The product was produced and sold through the Curtis Corporation of Long Beach, Ca.
