1919 Pipeless CALORIC Furnace - One Pipe - Iconic Floor Grate - Ad #1891

This original 11 x 14" magazine ad from 1919 showcases a popular Furnace of the Period, the Caloric "Pipeless" or "One-Pipe".  The furnace was located in the basement and pushed heat up through a large floor grate into the home.  Speaking as someone who owns a house that still has the floor grate present this is a great piece to show the history of the piece.
