1919 Illinois Glass Company - The "Big Bottle" Problem Ad #1967

This original 11 x 14" magazine ad was published in 1919 to promote the "Big Bottle" produced by the Illinois Glass Company of Alton, Illinois.  The bottles were designed to hold between 4 and 12 gallons of liquid.  These were branded with the Diamond I on the bottom.
