1916 & 1923 Cream of Wheat Cereal Ads - Black Americana Ad Set #103

This listing is for a pair of very early Cream of Wheat Cereal Ads as described below:

Ad 1: is a full color ad that was on the inside cover of the "Farmer's Wife" magazine of 1923.  It has some aged patina to it and the upper edge has a missing piece that will not impact the ad showing well in an appropriate frame.  The ad features a contented sleeping child with a full stomach courtesy of Cream of Wheat Cereal.  Their Tradionational Logo is shown on the ad as well.  This ad is 10 x13".

Ad 2:  This ad is from 1916 and showcases the tradionitional Black Americana the company liked to use in a majority of their Cereal Advertisements.  This is an actual artist rendition , signed by Edward V Brewer as retained by the Cream of Wheat Cereal company to produce the advertisment. Ad is 10 x 13" and has some aged patina but in overall great shape.   It was the inside cover of its dated Magazine page.
