1911 Elmore Touring Car & Baker Electric Auto Ads #N1371

This original 7 x 10" magazine page from the McClure's magazine of 1911 showcases two period automobiles, which may be long forgotten in 2025.  The First is the Elmore 2- Cycle Valveless car made in Clyde, Ohio.  The auto shown is a 5-passenger Touring Model 36-B with a 50Hp engine.  On the opposite side is a baker Electric Motor Car which used a steering shaft rather than a steering wheel.  This company was based in Cleveland, Ohio.  Light staining on both sides give the ads their vintage patina caused from decades of moist storage.
