This original 7 x 10" magazine ad from McClures 1897 magazine features The Yost, the No. 4 Caligraph, The Universal Crandall and the Daugherty-Visible Typewriters of the period.  It also advertised the Typewriter Exchange which is a business that sold used and refurbished typewriters of all makers.   Nice graphics of original equipment.
