1897 Original Monarch Bicycles & Rambler Bicycle Antique Ads #N1269

This original 7 x 10" magazine page from McClures 1897 edition features two popular brands of Bicycles from that time front and back.  On the front is a glorious ad for Monarch Bicycles  produced by the Monarch Cycle Mfg. CO and sold world-wide with their trademark Lion.  On the reverse is a full page ad for Rambler Bicycles which must have originated in 1879 as they refer to them as "18" year old wheels.  These Bicycles were produced by the Gormully & Jeffery MFG. CO also sold world-wide.
