This original 8.5 x 11” magazine ad from 1944 features a PSA from bell Telephone Systems entitled “Hurry Calls of War", with a switchboard graphic, and operator.  How many people today really even remember switchboards, party lines and wired phones made of Bakelite? Really neat piece of WWII memorabilia.
